Samsung’s premium-level Galaxy Chromebook took CES by storm, and it’s easy to see why just from the pictures alone. It comes in either Mercury Grey or a Fiesta Red (AKA, the one you should buy). We knew a lot about the impending Chromebook from CES, but not a release date. Now we know you can pick up this lovely laptop on April 6th—just not in all the configurations Samsung promised.

When Samsung brought its forthcoming Galaxy Chromebook to CES, it mentioned optional configurations. The top-end would see include 16 GBs of RAM and a 1 TB SSD, which is overkill for a Chromebook. Unfortunately, according to The Verge, that model won’t hit stores April 6th, and Samsung didn’t specify when you could grab it.

But if your Chromebook needs aren’t so mighty, you can grab the $999 model with 8 GB’s of RAM and a 256 GB SSD. For most people, that should suffice, though you may want to grab an external hard drive to beef up your storage some. And you’ll still get the gorgeous 13.3″ 4K AMOLED panel, which is the highlight of the laptop.

Samsung says the Galaxy Chromebook will be exclusive to its site and Best Buy.
